Standing small version

As the daughter of a piano tuner and a piano teacher, I learned to play the piano at the age of 3. By the time I was 12 I had a love for accompanying and started as rehearsal accompanist for my church and school choirs. At 16 I began teaching piano in my mother’s studio.

I received a bachelor’s degree in piano performance from The College of Wooster, and a Master’s Degree in Accompanying and Chamber Music from Michigan State University.

I have worked as a freelance accompanist at Northeast Missouri State, The University of Indianapolis, The University of Georgia, and the University of North Georgia – Gainesville.  In that capacity, I have worked with vocal and instrumental students as well as choral and chamber groups and consequently, have developed a wide range of repertoire.

As a collaborative pianist, it is my great joy to come along side you to help achieve your musical goals, whatever they may be.
